Company History
The firm was established in Geneva in 1971 and its original shareholders included Banca Commerciale Italiana, Paribas and the founder, Maurice Dwek. In 1981, S.G.Warburg & Co. acquired a minority interest in Soditic, increasing its stake to 50% in 1987 and 100% in 1990.
Following the acquisition in 1995 of S.G.Warburg by Swiss Bank Corporation, Soditic was re-launched by Maurice Dwek and a new management team. The Soditic Group is owned by its managing partners.
Soditic is regulated in the United Kingdom by the Financial Services Authority and in Jersey by the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
