Overview

Soditic provides financial services to clients wishing to locate their assets or business in a premier offshore finance centre. The firm has had a presence in Jersey for more than 25 years.

The Island of Jersey is one of the world’s leading international finance centres. Its successful combination of political, economic, fiscal and geo-political stability and reliability has kept it at the forefront of global finance for almost half a century.

As a dependency of the English Crown, Jersey has the constitutional rights of self-government and judicial independence. These rights were granted by Royal Charter 800 years ago and are unaffected by changes to United Kingdom or European government.

The Island has a special relationship with the European Union, defined by Protocol. Neither a member nor associate member, the special relationship with the European Union is ratified by Protocol 3 of the Treaty of Accession of the United Kingdom to the European Community. Through this Protocol, Jersey complies with European Union Directives on trade in industrial and agricultural products, but is not bound by Directives or Regulations in other areas such as European Monetary Union, taxation or financial services.

The Island’s financial services industry is supported by a sophisticated and comprehensive infrastructure of leading edge legislation and internationally recognized regulation that combine to allow flexibility and innovation in the provision of services, while at the same time promoting investor confidence. Financial services providers, including trustees, are subject to regulation in Jersey.

Soditic & Co. Ltd. is authorised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission to conduct both investment business and trust company business.

Trust Company Business

Soditic is authorised to provide trustee and company administration services. We specialise in managing tailored business structures, e.g. private equity fund structures, as well as special purpose vehicles.

Investment Business

We offer dealing services to private clients wishing to manage their own portfolio of internationally marketable securities, whilst taking full advantage of transacting offshore.
